"I want every student to realize that technical capability and emotional wellbeing belong in the same room. Your background, your burnout, and your obstacles do not disqualify you from science; they give you the vigor to transform it."
-Fatima Tu Zahra, Founder
My journey into STEM began in my childhood, mixing household chemicals into slime and testing how the physical world worked. Entering the traditional school system, however, revealed a systemic flaw: science shifted from an active journey of discovery into passive textbook memorization. This contrast became starkly clear during a severe local power outage. Using only a discarded plastic bottle, a small motor, and a piece of thread, I built a functioning DIY fan on the spot. That moment crystallized an essential truth: genuine learning cannot exist in a vacuum, and practical engineering can solve real-world problems in real time.
Looking across classrooms worldwide, I saw millions of students losing their natural curiosity to flat, repetitive lectures. This disconnect drove me to launch Flamivor. We created the initiative to scale that spark of discovery through a global network of student-led chapters. Targeting the entire K-12 spectrum, Flamivor pairs hands-on STEM projects with dedicated youth mentorship. We empower students everywhere to bring learning off the page, move beyond rote memorization, and step into their full potential as active global innovators.
